My first name is Yin Lin (颖宁 yǐngníng), my family name is Tan (陈 chén), and my pronouns are she/her. That's me on the right, in one of my favorite bookstores.

I'm a second-year Linguistics PhD student at Stanford University. I'm also affiliated with the National University of Singapore, where I completed my undergraduate degree.

In my downtime, I can be found at dance (my main genre is house), finding new music, doing yoga, consuming media, planning my next trip, or dabbling in some vaguely creative pursuit.
